I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix & E! G5 {9 X& B9 ^4 }. Y- h1 d. Z* }2 R' }* n: U C
